The Semiquincentennial is at the center of this year’s acclaimed CoolCraft Summer Beverage Competition, as 23 breweries, mixologists, and roasters across West Volusia have each selected one of the 50 states as the inspiration for their alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages!
From June 26 through Labor Day, September 7, vote online or print out a paper ballot to help decide which businesses take home the winning trophy and ultimate bragging rights. Cheers to 250!
How to Vote.
The CoolCraft Electoral System is getting a major upgrade this year! In addition to online voting, which can be found further down on this page, we are excited to introduce paper ballots! Available at any participating CoolCraft location or by simply printing your own at home, the passport ballot is a perfect way to track your stops and map out your summer.
All voting officially closes on CoolCraft Election Day, September 7, 2026. Be sure to submit your digital votes or return your physical ballot to the West Volusia Visitor Center, 116 W New York Ave., DeLand, FL to ensure your voice is heard!
Voting with the Paper Ballot.
To vote for a CoolCraft Summer Beverage, completely fill in the oval to the left of your beverage choices.
In order for your vote to count, completely fill in the Voter Information section under The Rules on the left of the ballot.
Once you’re finished voting, return this ballot to the West Volusia Vistor Center to get your “Made in America” bumper sticker.
REMEMBER! You can vote online at coolcrafttrail.com/summer, or you can download or pick up a paper ballot at any participating CoolCrafter. Fill it out and return your ballot via mail or the dropbox at the West Volusia Visitor Center (116 W. New York Ave., DeLand, Florida) to get your bumper sticker.
We Made a CoolCraft!
To show off West Volusia's crafting spirit, our official American Summer craft is a cut-then-build-your-own American Bald Eagle! Using the template that is linked below, grab a pencil, trace it onto cardboard, paper, or felt, and let your creativity soar. Once your masterpiece is assembled, email a photo to us. We'll be sharing our favorite creations on social media all summer long.

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Refreshment.
From Central 28 Beer Co.’s CC Lime Crusher to BakeChop’s Pecan Pie Latte, you're invited to explore twenty three beverages themed to the people, landscapes, rich history, and culture of one of the 50 US states. Ranging from local coffee roasters to breweries, tea purveyors, and mixologists, each participating business has crafted either an alcoholic (Spirited) or alcohol free (Free Spirited) creation. Don't forget to download your paper ballot for the chance to earn a commemorative bumper sticker!
